1/4 mile - 6.0 (10 min/mile) 3/4 mile - 6.5 (9.13 min/mile) 1 mile - 7.0 (8.34 min/mile) 1 mile - 7.5 (8 min/mile) 1/2 mile - 7.0 1/4 mile - 6.0 1/4 mile - 9.0 (6.40 min/mile) Okay, did this last week, although did it slightly differently. Thought I'd give myself a breather at the end before I did the 9.0, and thought it would matter. Nope, most certainly didn't. I still was on the verge of puking at the end of that 1/4 mile. Actually, I think it was slightly worse than last week, I was actually gagging this time. Might have to keep a bucket in there for me for the future. . . actually, my goal is to at least be able to do this without feeling that way at the end. I mean, come on! It's 1 min and 40 seconds. Surely that shouldn't kill me?!?! I seriously don't know how some of you people do this pace for an entire marathon. Anyway, feels great when I'm done, aside from the puking factor. But, I will prevail!! :) |
