1/2 marathon - 1:42:12 (Hobble Creek 1/2 Marathon 2010)

Marathon - 3:54:22 - (St George Marathon 2013)

Short-Term Running Goals:

Continue setting new PR's. I am 9 minutes off a Boston Qualifying time.  That is my next goal.

Long-Term Running Goals:

I love to run and I hope my body will continue to hold out and allow me to keep running for a very long time!  I would like to be still competing in races when I am old!

Personal:

I am married and have 4 boys.  My husband is also a runner.  I love when we can run together.  I hope to pass on our love of running to our children.

Ran with my sister and her husband to help them train for the 1/2 marathon in 2 weeks.  Kind of frustrating as her husband has to stop and walk quite a bit.  The last half of the run, I pulled a "Jillian".  I made him run for 7 minutes and then he could walk for 1 minute.  This lasted about 4 times, I think.  It shouldn't have been difficult as most of it was downhill.  Needless to say, I really didn't feel like I had run 11 miles after that.  I wanted to go further with my husband (he did 19), but I had a sick kid at Grammy's house so I thought I'd better stay back with him.  Glad to get back to my own training and pace :)

Did 4 miles in 33:34 this morning.  Felt good, especially after the SLOW run yesterday.  My legs were ready to to actually be worked out this morning :)

Thought I was only going 5 miles this morning, until mile 3 was WAY slower than the rest!  Just went and recalculated it on mapmyrun.com and found the actual distance.  I feel a little better now :)  Did this distance in 44:13.  Felt pretty good.

Did 3 on the treadmill this morning.  Not my fave, especially when it's so nice outside, but the kids were up and hubby was gone this morning.  Tomorrow is a day off, then Saturday the long run.  Probably just 10, since the half marathon is next week.
