Well, Map My Run says the distance I did was that much. Thought it was slightly shorter, but guess in the long run it doesn't really matter. I did hills this morning. So, it's a little over a half mile jog to the hill, then probably .2 up the hill, then I circle around the block. Repeat 5 times (minus the jog from home). I could tell I haven't done hills in a LONG time. Whew!! Kinda tough this morning! But, it did feel like a great workout. Gotta get in all the hills I can before I move to Texas where there are NONE! Felt good to do something different this morning, too. I think I'm burned out lately because I was doing the same things, over and over and over again. It's a nice change. And, the weather is cooperating, too :) In the 40's this morning, so a little brisk, but I warmed up pretty quickly tackling that hill! Hoping for a possible 6 miler in the morning, not sure if I'll be running Saturday again or not. Early soccer games make for not having enough time in the day! |
