Ran 12 miles in 1:51 this morning. I know, not my best, but all things considered. . . The first half was mostly up hill, which meant the last half was down. We were in Idaho so these were just back country roads. Having not slept well the night before and not really thrilled about being there in the first place (among other things) I woke up on the wrong side of the bed (to say the least) and was just rip roarin' ready to go and work it out. My husband ran with me, and bless him, he knew to just let me go at my own pace. I cranked the music up loud and took off. By the end of the 12 miles, I was feeling a little better :) After the run, we got cleaned up and took the kids sledding in the mountains. So, add hiking up the hill several times to my workout today, too :) Had a good time and I'm still surprised nobody broke anything. . . :) Glad this weekend is over and I can go home to my own life now. |
