Ran for just over an hour on the treadmill this morning doing my tempo workout. Started out the same, 6.0, 6.5, 7.0, for 5 minutes each, twice. Then, on the 3rd time of 6.0 I started to feel it wasn't fast enough :) Funny how that happens when you've been running faster. I think of the days I do an easy run at 6.0 and it seems plenty fast. . . ;) So, I only did 4 minutes of it that time, then 5 1/2 minutes each of 6.5 and 7.0. On the last round I did 3 minutes of 6.0, 6 minutes of 6.5, and 5 1/2 minutes of 7.0, then I upped it to a 10.0 for the last 30 seconds. Dang, that's fast! Glad it was only 30 seconds! But, I finished and felt great! |
