Ah, the last day before daylight savings time. Grrr... really enjoyed leaving at 6:30 this morning to light skies. Run was good but I was tired by mile 10. Yes, mile 10. I keep thinking to myself, you have a marathon in another 5 weeks! I really hate training for a marathon over the winter months. Hoping the marathon will not be a terrible thing because of this. Next week I think we will shoot for another 15, at least. That should be our last really long run before the marathon. On a side note, I tried the RockIt Fuel stuff we'd been given in goody bags last summer at some races. NASTY!!! I could only down a bit of the stuff and no more. But, I guess some sugar did get into me cuz it helped some :) Legs are tired, glad to have a break tomorrow before sprints on Monday. . . |
